  • We recommend you do a local back up of your data prior to running the connection.
  • You must be logged into RDN in order to get to the Web Connector.
  • You must be the admin for QuickBooks in order for the installation to work.
  • Information transferred will occur from the point that you registered.
  • It is suggested to always allow RDN to connect, this will save you time. This setting can be selected to auto run or manually update.

  • This is a one way integration only – RDN to QuickBooks – there is no way for QuickBooks information to be put back into RDN – this is not technically feasible.
  • Information sent from RDN to QuickBooks includes:
    • Invoices and all details on the invoice.
    • Payments –a payment applied on an invoice will reflect on that invoice.
    • Adjuster Payments – will be applied and sent across.
    • Whenever QuickBooks pulls down an invoice it checks to see if there is match with a global client name – we will always prepend the client name with RDN. This is to ensure it will not overwrite your existing QB info. This is the same for billing information, RDN, Last Name, First Name.
    • If you want to merge an account together – you may rename your existing account information to RDN Name.
    • It is recommended that you take your existing customers and merge them to reflect the RDN customer account name otherwise they will continue to update with the RDN Name every integration run.
    • The RDN Description is added to every invoice this will include the VIN, Case Number and Last Name as an extra line item on each invoice to help identify which account the invoice belongs to.
    • This integration will work with older versions of QB at least to 2008 but will not work with the web version of QuickBooks – you must be using the desktop version.
